We shore dive several times every week, so there is bound to be a dive time that fits into your schedule soon. Drop us an email or pop into our Clubhouse on a Wednesday night from 18:30 and say hi! We do not have a license to sell alcohol so please bring your own drinks.
Weekend Dives
Undeterred by varying conditions, we arrange Club dives every weekend and sometimes multiple times a weekend. Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter - we are always diving in. Experienced club dive guides choose locations depending on weather conditions and dive abilities. Open to all members and afters-snack share is a must.
Weekly Fill Nights
Free air-fills is one of the perks of being an FBUC member. We run our compressors every Wednesday evening from around 18:30. Pop in and say hi! Highlights: Pool table battles,affordable soft drinks, free air fills for members, scuba stories and dive plans, gear rental for members. Come hang out, share dive tales, and meet your next dive buddy. We do not have a license to sell alcohol so please bring your own drinks.
Monthly Braai Night
The first Wednesday of the month is Braai Night where we gather en-masse to trade stories, make new connections, fill cylinders, and throw some food on the fire. We do not have a license to sell alcohol so please bring your own drinks.
Divers Night
A global event every first Saturday of November. FBUC is proud to have recorded the most divers in the water for three consecutive years. Join us as we light up the ocean!
Talks & Info Evenings
Join our free guest speaker presentation evenings on subjects like on ocean conservation, ecology, photography and technical diving skills. Learn about our local dive sites from our club dive guides. A hot meal can be pre-booked and is served before the show! Friends, guests and family are welcome too. We do not have a license to sell alcohol so please bring your own drinks.
Potjie Competition Cook-offs
Team up with fellow dive buddies for our annual competition against other clubs or just each other. Great prizes up for grabs from our sponsors. Events are put out in our members only Whatsapp groups.
