What are we like?
FBUC offers a relaxed social environment and excellent company as you get immersed in the best cool-water diving in the world. Cape Town diving is fabulous and our members have been getting underwater around the Cape Peninsula for years... and years... and years!
Our History
Founded many moons ago (we are the oldest scuba club in South Africa), False Bay folks are a bunch of excellent divers who tackle the cool waters around Cape Town with great glee, as often as the conditions permit.
Where we Dive
The Joy of the Peninsula Cape Town offers us a unique opportunity to dive from the shore 🏝. This is a super-affordable option, so our weekend dives are focused on shore diving and there is generally a dive site to suit every weather condition - that is the great joy of living on a Peninsula. Some of us are addicted to boat diving too 🚤 so if you are looking for a buddy to join you on a dive boat, you can find one of those, too.
